 Minister of Finance meets with the World Bank Vice President and a number of international bankers

Riyadh, Wednesday, 24 April 2019:
His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan met today with Mr. Akihiko Nishio; World Bank Vice President for Development Finance (DFi), Mr. Nobuyuki Hirano; Chairman of MUFG Bank of Japan Mr. Daniel Pinto; Co- Chief Operating Officer of JP Morgan of America, Mr. John Flint, HSBC's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hiroshi Nakamine; Managing Executive Officer in Europe and the Middle East at Mizuho Bank of Japan, Mr. Jun Ohta; CEO of SMBC Japan, and Mr. Mark Cook, CEO of Ashmore of UK.
The Minister of Finance reviewed, during the fringe meetings at the Financial Sector Conference (FSC) hosted currently in Riyadh, the positive developments in the Saudi economy and the Kingdom's efforts to achieve financial equilibrium and economic diversification within the vision of Saudi Arabia (2030).
The first session of Financial Sector Conference launched today at the King Abdulaziz International Conference Center in Riyadh and will last for two days. The conference, which is held under the theme "Promising Financial Horizons", is organized by the partners of the Financial Sector Development Program (FSDP) (one of the Saudi Vision 2030 programs), represented by the Ministry of Finance, the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), the Capital Market Authority (CMA) with the participation of decision makers in the financial sector and senior executives of financial 
institutions locally, regionally and internationally.
