The Saudi Ministry of Finance and the U.S. Treasury Department signed Tuesday, November 18 2025, the “Financial and Economic Partnership" to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations in fields that are foundational for economic stability and shared prosperity, including public finance, cooperation in international financial institutions, international debt treatments, fiscal policy, and the exchange of expertise and technical knowledge.
The Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan, said the agreement reflects the two sides' recognition that stability, economic growth, and the resilience of international financial institutions collectively contribute to long-term prosperity. It also underscores the two nations' shared interest in exploring ways to improve policies and strengthen public financial management in line with international best practices.
