5/14/2025

His Excellency the Saudi Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan, participated in the ministerial dialogue entitled "Striking Balance: Coordinating Fiscal and Monetary Actions" during the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum held today May 13, 2025 in Riyadh, coinciding with U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to the Kingdom.

During the session, Minister Aljadaan said that Saudi-U.S. relations grow stronger each year, with investments between the two nations steadily increasing, which supports achieving Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.

Regarding private investment in the Kingdom, Minister Aljadaan said, "Private investment is a structural anchor of any economy—shifting it typically takes decades. Yet in Saudi Arabia, we were able to improve its share as a percentage of GDP from 16% to around 23%." Minister Aljadaan also encouraged investors to take the opportunity to engage with Saudi investors, and meet the youth to truly see how deeply this society is driven by its ambition.

The Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum is a pivotal platform for advancing strategic economic collaboration between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States in sectors like AI and technology, manufacturing, energy and minerals, finance, security and defense, healthcare, and venture capital. It convenes policymakers, business leaders, innovators, and investors from both nations to forge new pathways for cross-border investment, technological innovation, and sustainable economic growth.
