The Saudi Deputy Minister of Finance for International Relations, Dr. Ryadh Alkhareif, participated in the opening session of the World Bank's IDA20 Replenishment Mid-Term Review meetings, held in the United Republic of Tanzania from 6-8 December 2023.

During the session, Dr. Alkhareif highlighted the Kingdom's role as one of the world's leading countries in the field of international development, emphasized the importance for the IDA to continually review and improve its support mechanisms, and urged the IDA to take advantage of the international initiatives launched by the Kingdom during its presidency of the G20, especially the initiatives related to debt management and climate change.
