The Saudi Ministry of Finance, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Mohammed Aljadaan, welcomed a delegation of students and faculty members from Harvard Business School at the Ministry's headquarters in Riyadh today, Wednesday, January 7, 2026. The visit is part of the Ministry's initiatives to strengthen communication with leading global research and academic institutions and to showcase the Kingdom's ongoing economic transformation.
During his welcoming remarks, H.E. Aljadaan emphasized that the Kingdom chose the path of national transformation "not because it is easy, but because it is hard," as it represents the ideal challenge to invest in national capabilities and achieve sustainable prosperity. He also reviewed the qualitative shift in the Saudi economy, which today ranks among the world's top 20 economies.
Minister Aljadaan also addressed the institutional role of the Ministry of Finance in achieving fiscal sustainability and developing systems that ensure spending efficiency while supporting non-oil sectors. He explained that these reforms primarily aim to finance innovation, empower youth, and build a robust and resilient financial system capable of addressing global challenges, thus positioning the Kingdom as an attractive destination for international investment and expertise.
