 IFC Announces Executive Job Opportunity Based in Riyadh: Regional Director for Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Lebanon

As part of its ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, Had announced an executive position based in Riyadh:  Regional Director for Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and Lebanon. The role comes in line with IFC's establishment of an integrated regional headquarters in the Kingdom.

This announcement represents a key step toward setting up IFC's regional headquarters in Riyadh and underscores the corporation's expanding operations to deliver innovative financial solutions and partnerships inspired by Vision 2030 and IFC's strategy.  These solutions and partnerships include pioneering investments in climate adaptation and mitigation, advancing women's empowerment, and transformative partnerships with fragile states. In addition, new financial solutions will be lunched to strengthen the success of public-private partnerships in the Kingdom and expand investment opportunities.  As the Kingdom represents the region's largest economy, IFC's office in Saudi Arabia will further enhance the prospects of its regional operations.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), one of the five institutions of the World Bank Group, is the world's largest global development institution focused on the private sector in emerging markets.  IFC works with more than 2,000 establishments worldwide and brings six decades of experience in creating opportunities across the globe.  Private sector development is considered essential for building successful and sustainable economies in low- and middle-income countries.  Sound and efficient financial markets ensure the productive allocation of resources, contributing to job creation and driving economic growth.

Applicants for the position are required to hold a Master's degree, or an equivalent qualification, in finance, economics, business administration, or another related field, with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.  Applicants must also demonstrate a strong understanding of IFC's investment, advisory, and upstream operations, including relationship management, business development, and the management of bankable projects, within the context of regional priorities and opportunities.
